Indian Pitcher

10"x8"
Oil on linen panel

This is one of many Indian pitchers I own. The intricate etchings and style always catch my eye in the antique and vintage stores -- and now I have a collection!  Fun to paint, though I struggled with the purple background being too "shiny" and overshadowing the pitcher.  That made it hard to get a good photo.

  1. These are wonderful Dicksie, metals are so diffucult to render, great work! And that background is perfect...
